Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of Lambourn CE Primary School,

Welcome to our website, it is with a real sense of pride that I welcome you to Lambourn C of E Primary School. We are a flourishing school supported by good quality teaching and support staff which results in good learning outcomes. We want children to enjoy school, be motivated and have a desire to learn and improve. In addition, we also want children to be proud of their achievements.

It’s important that what you see and read in this website will give you some insight into what makes Lambourn C of E a happy school and that it accurately reflects what we offer. As a team, we are always looking to improve and move forward.

At Lambourn, we aim to provide our children with a safe and secure environment in which they can take risks with learning. Every day, children are supported in developing skills and attitudes which help them to develop in confidence and independence.

Parents and carers who responded to Parent View and to the school’s own survey stated that their children were happy, safe, well looked after and that the school promotes good behaviour.

When children leave us, we want them to have a love of learning which will stay with them throughout life. Enjoyment, challenge and activity are at the heart of successful learning and we endeavour to achieve this through a broad and balanced curriculum which allows children to reach their full potential. We want our children to be the very best they can be!

Do visit our school to meet the staff and children; you will receive a warm introduction. You are very welcome to visit during a normal working day, in fact, we encourage it as it’s a great way to see our school in action. Please ring the school office and arrangements will be made to welcome you to our school. We look forward to meeting you and your child in the near future.

Mrs Rachael Duke, Headteacher
